PP BCF Yarn can also be tufted into low pile structure and then back-coated and moulded by the OEM manufacturers to make boot-liners for different cars. Although, conventionally, this application has always been done with Nylon6 but now PP BCF is being increasingly tried out and is successful to a limited extent. The bulk of the yarn needs to be very finely controlled for uniformity so that there is no flashes or shines on the tufted/moulded surface.
